I keep my shoulder bag packed and ready to go at a moment’s notice. Your list reminds me that I really should add a flashlight and first-aid kit to the stash.

Besides the things on the list here, I also bring a multitool (if it’s good enough for Survivorman…) and travel bugs/geocoins.
