Split my shift today so I was able to get out and enjoy a letterbox hunt in Kitchener. The weather was great again. Sunny and +5C.
Visited mmmtika’s Do It Your Way.
All these years I’ve driven down Bridge Street and never ventured down Tyson. It’s a quiet little street with a trail and the Grand River to the left and a community centre and park to the right.
The box was an easy find. Loved that I could take it back to the car for some extended stamping. I could think about the composition I wanted to create. It’s like Vivian the Viking’s Neighbourhood Love letterbox. Had fun.
After returning the box, I took a walk on the trail and spotted a couple of unusual ducks. I think they might have been ring-necked ducks.
Then I went on to find 3 geocaches. The last one was a multicache with a fairy theme and fairy doors – really creative.

Oh.. It looks like you were just a bit too soon for a letterbox I planted this evening called : Ghosts of Sanders Past….
Guess the race is still on for first finder.
Its hard to stay inside with this great weather.
I figured out where the Ghosts box is.
A tricky one for sure. I’m sure I’ll go for it sometime soon. Looking forward to the shrine.
You are in the future! The post was on Feb. 7?? Wild!
Sounds like a fun day, for sure!
